If anyone knows the artist or the name please let me know, I can't find him online and I'll be amazed if he's not well known, this drawing is superb (in my opinion it's better than the "King" of Elvis pencil drawings, Glen Fortune Banse, whose originals would be worth many thousands!)

The shading and detail on this picture are stunning, I have some extreme close ups (with the lens only 15 or so mm away) to give you an idea of the detail.

Signed and dated in the bottom right hand corner.

Set in a polished metal frame or decent quality, seems contemporary to the drawing. Good condition throughout, no yellowing on the paper, no frame damage.

Measures 17.5 x 13.5 inches approximately including the frame.

TITLE -THE CITY STEPS

SIZE 13.5in x 9 3/4in (34cm x 24cm)

On offer here is a Fantastic Watercolour Painting of a beautiful city, with grand steps leading to a clock tower and villas.

There is a fountain and people seated enjoying the afternoon.

The painting is signed lower right H. Lindowsty 1947.

The scene could be the French Riviera as a warm day with blue skies is captured.

The painting is very well executed with great detail, there is however some foxing throughout with slight stain to top right corner. This can be covered with a mount and the picture restored it is still a very pretty signed painting at a good price, that would be great framed.

Description.

On offer here is a wonderful watercolour guilt framed painting dating from the 19th century.

Here we have a lovely watercolour painting. The scenes depicts a very classic coast/seascape showing a group of fishermen mooring a small boat. The painteing is signed Helga Von Cramm. A lovely piece.

Condition.

In good condition commensurate with age, please do not expect this item to be as new, the usual knocks and nicks expected with items of this age, nothing major or detrimental. The frame is fairly cracked with pieces missing however there is no major damage to image.

Description:A fine animal portrait acrylic watercolour on artist's buff paper dating circa late 20th Century, framed - approx 17 X 12 inches (43.18 X 30.48cm).This is a fine English School acrylic watercolour dating from the late 20th Century period. The animal portrait depicts an unusual contemporary study of an owl in moonlight which appears to have been created from a wood or vinyl block stencil where the artist would have carved out the image and then painted in watercolour before pressing onto the buff coloured paper. The watercolour has a 'stippled' finish which would indicate that his was how the painting was created. The owl is perched on a bare leafed tree, the landscape beneath in the form of a patchwork of fields as the full moon creates silhouettes in the darkness. Date:The acrylic watercolour probably dates to around late 20th Century. Framing:Contemporary plain moulded Wood. Finish: Natural.The acrylic watercolour is mounted on board and has a off-white mount. Condition:The painting is in excellent original condition. The art can be dusted or washed with a soft damp cloth. All the acrylic ultrachrome inks that I use are lightfast for 75 years which makes it pretty hardy against sunlight, scuffs and scratches. The solid handmade frame is made of redwood and a moisture resist board. A gallery wrapped redwood frame with 2cm deep edges give a professional finish with a continuous image around the sides making this artwork ready for immediate hanging.

Framed - approx 19 X 22 inches (48.26 X 55.88cm).This is a fine English Impressionist watercolour dating from the late 20th Century period. The figural landscape depicts a bright and colourful watercolour sketch titled, verso, "Shearing on a New Zealand Farm" and titled to the lower right "Rough Sketch". With blends of washes the artist has captured the scene on a sunny summer day. Sheep wait in pens, tended by the farmer as more of the flock approach from high on the hills. To the left, standing just by the tree, a black and tan collie dog helps with the round up . To the right a sheep shearer is hard at work in the barn, wool falling to the floor as he goes about his work.
