Premium quality acrylics and other materials are always used. Paint is always continued around the sides and a non yellowing artists glaze is applied as a final touch for enhancement and protection.

Boxed canvases (usually Winsor & Newton) are used i.e - Canvases whereby the canvas fabric is stretched over a wooden frame. This means that all canvases are ready to hang when you receive them, without the need for a frame!

All canvases are signed and dated on the reverse.

Silvia Pepe, from Italy , has graduated from an Art high school and afterwards she attended the Art Academy .

She was taught by some of the most important Italian painters such as: Francesco Tabusso and Giorgio Ramella .

Writer and creator of the Smile Therapy, Silvia Pepe spent many years helping children with special needs in Italian schools and hospitals.

She used some important techniques to give back well being to special need children like Art Therapy, Relief Therapy and Smile Smile.

She has been living in England for 3 years and teachers art therapy and play therapy to dyslexic children.

Description:A fine still life, oil / acrylic on artist's canvas, signed "Paul Gunn", and dated 1980 and framed - approx 34 X 25 inches (86.36 X 63.5cm).This is a fine English School oil / acrylic dating from the late 20th Century period. The still life depicts a bright and vibrant study of rhododendron flowers in a blue and white ceramic vase. The mottled brown ground contrasts with the bright orange and white blooms against the dense green foliage. The painting is accompanied by correspondence from the Artist to the purchase - Lady de Freyne along with the original receipt.The work is signed and dated lower left - "Paul Gunn", 1980. Date:1980 Artist Biography: Paul Gunn (20th Century) Framing:Contemporary plain moulded Pine. Finish: Gilt.The oil / acrylic is mounted on a stretcher. Condition:The painting is in excellent original condition. The frame has one or two minor marks consistent with age and use.
