This beautifully observed cold cast bronze sculpture of a Jack Russell captures perfectly the character of these brave and playful dogs. Measuring 15cm x 13cm appx this piece is satisfyingly weighty at appx 470g (over 1lb). The sculpture is signed 'Harriet Glen' on the base.

This fabulous sculpture  would sit happily as a single piece, or a wonderful addition to any collection.

The technique used for making items in cold cast bronze involves blending bronze powder with epoxy designer resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of a silicone mould. The mould is then filled with blend of resin and bronze metal powder which is then left to set. The finished item has the look, cold feel and semetimes (although not always) the weight of a solid bronze piece. All in all, a cold cast bronze item produces a piece of art which looks the part at a fraction of the cost of a solid bronze.
