All the art I produce is done by me. I have a good eye for detail so your art should arrive in perfect order. All the art has four coats of varnish when it gets prepared. The art can be dusted or washed with a soft damp cloth. All the acrylic ultrachrome inks that I use are lightfast for 75 years which makes it pretty hardy against sunlight, scuffs and scratches. The solid handmade frame is made of redwood and a moisture resist board. A gallery wrapped redwood frame with 2cm deep edges give a professional finish with a continuous image around the sides making this artwork ready for immediate hanging.

All sizes are approximate rounded to the nearest inch. Photos shown with sofas are not necessarily to scale. Please dont hesitate to ask any questions which I will be happy to answer. You may discuss discounts with me for bulk orders. Colours may vary according to individual monitors but this does not seem to be a big issue. Beware of buying non-pigmented art which will fade in a very short timeframe

 

Finish

Unless otherwise stated above, all of our products are printed onto matt canvas and then varnished to give the art a scratch resistant layer

Some of our competitors have to use a UV varnish as a last ditch attempt to improve their fade times....we use it because we choose to!

 

Canvas

All of our canvas art is printed onto high quality 280gsm polyester canvas which gives our art an incredibly vivid appearence.

Beware of buying from vendors that use substandard canvas that will appear dull

 

Delivery

Every order is despatched the following day of ordering via 1st class recorded delivery.

Each product is carefully wrapped in padding and then placed inside a cardboard sleave

In the event of damage, a simple photograph of the damage will entitle you to a new canvas being despatched immediately.

Delivery

The interior depicts a fine impressionist study titled "Veryan Green Hotel - 1960". Veryan Green is a beautiful picuresque spot in Cornwall near St. Mawes. This grand Georgian style building has a neatly laid out lawn with a drive sweeping around. A somewhat casual pastel but very effective and decorative.The work is signed and dated lower right - "MR", 1960 for "Margaret Ricketts". Date:1960 Artist Biography: Margaret Adeliza Mary Ricketts (nee Royds) (B. 1910 - deceased) - Married to Ralf Robert Ricketts (1902 - 1998) - formerly of Old Alresford Lodge, Alresford, Hampshire.
